PrestaShop Plugin Installation

Get Started with Whalestack

Create a Whalestack account to unlock the power of cryptocurrency payments for your website.

Install the Plugin

Download the module from GitHub.

Make sure to disable debug mode during installation (found in Prestashop > Advanced Parameters > Performance).

Compress the "whalestack" folder into a ZIP file and upload it using the Prestashop module manager. Alternatively, copy the entire "whalestack" folder to the /modules/ directory.

Finally, install and configure the module within the Prestashop module manager.

Enter API Keys

Navigate to the Whalestack module configuration page and input your API key and secret. Save your changes once you've entered the information.

Configuration

Payment Option Name

Specify the name of the payment option displayed on the checkout page. The default value is: Whalestack - Pay with Bitcoin and other digital currencies.

Description

Set the description of the payment option that appears on the checkout page. The default value is: Pay with Bitcoin, Litecoin, or stablecoins (USDC, EURC).

Settlement Asset

Choose the currency in which you want to receive the funds. Select ORIGIN if you prefer to be credited in the exact same currency your customer used for payment (without any conversion).

Checkout Page Language

Specify the language for the payment page.

Show Logo

Enable this option to display the Whalestack logo alongside the payment method on the checkout page.

Debug Log

Activate this option to log API requests and responses for debugging purposes.

Order Updates and Refunds

Payment Information

Completed payments will automatically update Prestashop orders to Payment accepted.

Refunds

You can manage all payments and refunds within your Whalestack account. You will receive email notifications for every new payment.

Tax Compliance and Invoice Generation

Checkout Form

To ensure tax compliance and enable automatic invoice generation, the following fields in the checkout form must be provided: First Name, Last Name, Email, Address, ZIP, City, and Country. These fields are mandatory on the PrestaShop checkout form. If you have customized these fields, please take note.
